At SIET, along with the comprehensive academic inputs, equal importance is attached to the all-round development of the student. This objective is achieved by encouraging the students to organize and participate in News analyses, seminars, debates, workshops, quizzes, management games, and competitions.

This helps the students to analyze current business events and relate them to academic theories. It gives students current information about brands, companies, and strategy as applied in the real world. Students can use this analysis in assignments, group discussions, and interviews.
Business quizzes are important to improve the knowledge of students, and provides them with a platform to promote their knowledge in a fun-filled and competitive environment.

These clubs becomes idea incubators where students draw out their best by conducting various curricular and co-curricular activities.
The industry visit is intended to expose the participants to the work place where they would see themselves in the near future. The exposure is an opportunity to witness the start-to-end processes in an industrial unit as well as the interaction of students with on site managers and help them to understand the management styles and the problems at an operational level, Exposure to the business practices enables them to test their text book knowledge with real life practices and develop the required necessary analytical skills. It also familiarizes the students with the environment in which a business unit operates..
The College organizes special lectures apart from the regular classes, where experts from the Industry/Academics address the students providing them with special insights in the area of their expertise. This platform provides the students with an opportunity to enhance their understanding of the industry from the experts themselves.
